1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, installing the OurBeam app or using ourbeam.tv (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
2. Who can use OurBeam
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services where you live if that is higher. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for what happens under your account. Give accurate information when you sign up, and tell us at support@ourbeam.tv if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. The app and rooms
OurBeam lets people watch content together in rooms of up to 8 people, with camera and microphone features. The app is available for Windows only. We may change, add or remove features as the Service develops.
5. What you watch and share
You are responsible for the content you play, stream or share in a room. Only use content you have the right to use and share. Make sure your watch party follows the copyright laws where you live and the terms of any service you get the content from.
OurBeam does not provide films or shows and does not grant you rights to any third-party content.
6. Community rules
When you use OurBeam, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten or abuse other people;
- share illegal content, or sexual content involving minors in any form;
- record or share other people’s camera or voice without their consent;
- infringe someone else’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
- attack, overload, reverse engineer or try to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
7. Our software
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the OurBeam app for its intended purpose. OurBeam’s name, logo, characters and software remain ours.
8. Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using OurBeam whenever you like. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put other people or the Service at risk.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Connection quality and sync can depend on your device and internet connection.
10. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, OurBeam is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can’t be waived.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the date above and let you know in a reasonable way. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the new Terms.
